Hockey Camps, Clinics & Lessons in Mississauga

Mississauga has one of the strongest minor hockey ecosystems in the GTA, anchored by major rinks like Iceland Mississauga, Paramount Fine Foods Centre, and the Hershey Centre complex. For parents, that means real choice — but also a lot of overlapping camps and clinics that look almost identical online.

Summer programming in Mississauga leans heavily toward week-long day camps for ages 6–13, with separate streams for beginners, recreational players, and AA/AAA prep. Many camps include 2–3 hours of on-ice time per day plus dryland, video, and small-area games. Fall through spring, the city is packed with weekly clinics — power skating, shooting, defence-specific, and goalie sessions — running out of Iceland and the smaller community rinks in Streetsville, Meadowvale, and Erin Mills.

Expect to pay roughly $375–$575 for a full-week summer camp, with elite-level programs running higher. Hourly clinic rates typically land between $25 and $50. Mississauga is one of the few cities where you can comfortably commute between three or four rinks within 15 minutes, so don't limit yourself to the closest option — sort by skill level and read the staff bios before booking.

If you have a younger child just getting started, the Mississauga Hockey League's house programs and the city-run Learn-to-Skate sessions are the cheapest entry points. For competitive players, look for clinics that specify rep-level or AAA experience in their description and check whether ice time is small-group or full-team format.
